The newest residents in Gravenhurst have travelled a long way to get here.
On Tuesday, the Syrian refugee family finally arrived in their new home.
The organization Syrian Refugees Gravenhurst picked up the family from Toronto Tuesday morning.
After having a chance to get settled in, the family was officially welcomed to their new home by both Mayor Paisley Donaldson and various council members from the town.
According to group officials, one of the daughters will be attending Gravenhurst High School for the first time this week.
