The Huntsville OPP is offering residents the opportunity to drop off old or unused prescriptions drugs this weekend. The OPP says it’s part of a province-wide initiative to raise awareness about prescription drug abuse.
The Prescription Drug Drop off Day is happening Saturday from 10am until 3pm. You can drop off your old and unused prescriptions at the Huntsville OPP detachment at 298 Ravenscliffe Road.
If you can’t make it on Saturday, you can always drop them off to your local pharmacist. Last year’s campaign brought in over 330 kilograms of medications from 730 citizens.
