A Gravenhurst woman is has come up with an innovative way to welcome Syrian Refugees to Muskoka.
Arleigh Luckett says she and her fellow members of Syrian Refugees Gravenhurst were contacted by Gravenhurst High School Teacher Jacki McPherson about a project involving the students.
She says after some discussion she had the idea to put the word welcome in English, French and Arabic on the buttons.
The students have made a small batch of the buttons which are now being sold around Gravenhurst and Bracebridge.
