Water levels are receding in Huntsville

Water levels are going down in Huntsville. Although the flood warning is still in effect, the Ministry of Natural Resources says the levels in the Big East River and downtown have declined. We might see them rise again as the warm temps in the next few days continue to melt the rest of the snow. The Emergency Control Group says Huntsville is well into the recovery phase, but will continue to monitor levels in the meantime. The tTwn does have a Recovery Committee, which will help residents affected by any flooding. The Town is also offering well water test bottles, which ca be picked up at The Canada Summit Centre and the Town Hall customer service counter. Go to huntsville dot ca for more information.
