Man charged in Kearney school teacher's murder is in court today

The Kearney man charged for killing a former school teacher is in court today. Declan Letters is charged with first degree murder in the death of 85-year-old Dolores White. Brock Gould was also charged with accessory after the fact and was to appear in Parry Sound Court today. On April 6th, White had called Almaguin Highlands OPP early in the morning, needing medical attention after an altercation in her home. She later died of her injuries while she was transported to hospital. A funeral service was held on Wednesday to commemorate her life. The family is creating an educational scholarship fund in her name.
