The Ryde Community Co-op is now the official owner of the schoolhouse.
The Trillium Lakelands District School Board has accepted the $135,000 bid by the community to buy the building. The schoolhouse holds several programs and has been heavily relied on by all the residents in the community.
Community officials say they were pleased to see everyone come together to raise money for the best possible competitive bid.
