2014 Provincial Budget outlines $130-billion in spending

The Liberals have brought down another budget. They’re proposing a 10-year plan they say invests in people and infrastructure. To that end they want to spend $130-billion on infrastructure over the next decade.

The breakdown includes $15-billion on transportation for the GTA and $14-billion for the rest of the province and about $11-billion apiece for health and education. The Wynne government is also forcing Ontarians to save by introducing a mandatory pension plan similar to the CPP. That means workers and their bosses will contribute to the fund.
