It will soon be time to lace up your skates as the Winter Village in Memorial Park comes to life this January.
The village, which will feature a looped skating trail, is undergoing its final preparations this coming Monday.
Mike Jefford with the village committee says the plan is to have it finished and ready to open by Saturday, January 16th.
He says the BBQ should be set up most Saturdays and will be there on the first day to help kick off the village opening.
There are plenty of volunteers signed up for trail maintenance but Jefford says they still need some for lights and audio set up as well.
