The man accused in a residential bear shooting made a second court appearance in Bracebridge.
Once again the appearance was brief and his case was held over to January 26th.
The 65-year-old was charged for careless use of a firearm after allegedly shooting a mother bear and one of her cubs on his property.
Recently Mike McIntosh, of Bear With Us, reported it is likely one orphaned cub is dead due to an injury it sustained in the shooting.
According to McIntosh, the other two cubs are probably safe in hibernation by now.
