Residents in Ryde will be keeping their fingers crossed after putting in a bid for their community centre.
Their building is up for sale by the Trillium Lakelands District School Board and the tender on the property closes today at 2:00pm.
Jennie Nice, with the community centre, says they will put in what they have been able to raise and hope for the best.
The community has been diligently fundraising over the month to raise the funds needed to put in a proper bid.
With help from the Town of Gravenhurst, they were able to make it to 73 per cent of their goal.
Nice says the winning bid will be announced by the board in January.
