Gravenhurst Volunteer Fire Department is adding five new graduates to its ranks.
On Friday, the five will be handed black helmets to symbolize their move from recruits to regular firefighters.
The ceremony will take place at the Gravenhurst Municipal Office at 7:00pm.
Chief Larry Brassard and Mayor Paisley Donaldson will hand out the new helmets.
Three of these graduates will be assigned to Station 1 and the other two to Station 2 in the Gravenhurst area.
