Students at St. Dominic Catholic High School in Bracebridge learned about a very serious topic with a fun twist.
On Friday, students came together to bid for cakes made by school staff.
Their money raised goes towards the Syrian aid effort run by the Rotary Club of Bracebridge.
Moose FM spoke with students about their thoughts on bringing Syrian refugees to the town.
Over $900 was raised through the special cake auction.
