Sandbags available for Bracebridge and Muskoka Lakes residents

Sand bags are still available for Bracebridge residents. To help home owners protect their property against potential flooding and damage, the Town of Bracebridge is continuing to make sand bags available free of charge. Sand bags can be picked up from Fowler Construction at 1206 Rosewarne Drive and is for affected Bracebridge properties only. For more information on what to do in the event of a flood, visit Bracebridge dot ca. Sandbags are also available free of charge for Muskoka Lakes residents at the Glen Orchard Public Works Yard. The yard is located at 3951 Muskoka Road 169. Material is located to the left when you enter the gate. You will need to bring your own shovel and manpower to fill and transport the sandbags.
