Organizers with the Bandshell project hope the snow doesn’t fly anytime soon.
Construction work is expected to begin for the recently approved Bandshell in Rivermill Park. The permanent stage will be the home for community events and concerts. Festival of the Arts General Manager Rob Saunders says if snow does in fact fall, it could get in the way of their completion date for May.
Saunders says soil tests have been completed and everything looks to be clear underground. Shovels should be in the ground within the next few days.
