Davies made his first official meet with the media in his new role on Thursday morning at the municipal office.
He spoke about his future role and how he would like to pass on his 40 years of experience to some of the fresher faces.
Scott Lucas will remain assisting as interim CAO for at least one more council meeting while Davies continues to familiarize himself with the town’s processes.
