Police charge a man with impaired in Burk's Falls

A Burk’s Falls man faces impaired driving charges after being stopped at a R.I.D.E. check. Almaguin Highlands OPP were conducting a R.I.D.E. check on Ontario Street in Burk’s Falls Saturday. Around 11:00pm a car heading north was stopped and officers subsequently arrested the 69-year-old driver. The man is charged with driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood and driving while ability impaired and will face those charges in a Sundridge court on May 8^th.
