Parry Sound-Muskoka MP Still Waiting to Find Out New Role in the House of Commons

Our MP is no longer the Treasury Board President.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced his cabinet today and selected Scott Brison as Treasury Board President, the position held by Parry Sound-Muskoka MP Tony Clement under the Conservative Government.

Clement says Brison is one of the more experienced members in the House of Commons and they have a good mutually respectful relationship.

Clement says although his position will be that of a critic role, it doesn’t change his responsibilities at our MP. He expects to have a critic role in the Official Opposition and he has held an economic portfolio for the past six years.
