Water flows in Huntsville have slowed down. The Town’s Emergency Control Group met this morning and says some residents have seen a decrease in water levels. But, with the warm weather and rain in the forecast for the Easter long weekend, the Town says we will see those water levels rise again in the flood-prone areas and downtown. If you live in the flood-prone area, keep an eye out on your water conditions.
There are road closures because of the flooding.Whitehouse Road has now been included in the list. Keep checking the town’s website www.huntsville.ca for updates on closures, water conditions and weather. Sandbags are still available.
