Firefighters in Gravenhurst are hoping to prepare apartment owners and renters for the possibility of a fire.
During Tuesday and Wednesday next week and the week afterwards, firefighters will be knocking on apartment doors between 7:00 and 9:00 p.m.
This is to educate owners and renters on what to do if a fire breaks out in your building.
Fire Prevention Officer Robert King says he wants to make sure residents know what to do if they are caught in an apartment building on fire.
They will be handing out pamphlets and answering any questions.
