An Olympic silverĀ medal was stolen from the hockey hall of fame in Penatanguishene.
According to South Georgian Bay OPP, the medal and ribbon were stolen overnight on August 18th.
Police were called to the arena the next morning and discovered smashed windows and a smashed display case where the medal was.
The medal has since been recovered but the ribbon is still missing.
There was also some very expensive camera equipment stolen as well.
Officers estimate the damages to be around $5,000.
