A new event is being put on next week to challenge swimmers to their water ability.
Sunrise Swim for Hospice is a 1.6 kilometer distance swim for everyone 18 years or older. The race will start at Camp Kitchen and go around Alice Island. Supporter, Rich Trenholm says at the end of the race, there is an opportunity to have a first glance at the floating Nydock coffee bar.
The race is held on Friday, August 28th and starts at 7 a.m.
