A cigarette is suspected to be the cause of a hydro transformer catching fire in Huntsville.
Hydro workers and fire crews were called to John Street on Friday afternoon as the transformer began to smoke from the bottom.
The smoke was quickly put out, but one hydro official suspects the spark from the cigarette may of made contact with the pesticides in the ground which could’ve caused a grass fire.
