The Town of Huntsville is reminding residents it’s illegal to smoke in certain public areas.
As of January 1st 2015, it’s illegal to smoke on/or around children’s playgrounds, sports recreational areas.
The new law also makes it illegal to smoke on all bar and restaurant patios.
The town says they are dedicated to the health and safety for residents. ‘No Smoking’ signs are located throughout the town.
