Phone scams are happening to many seniors. Now, police are saying fraudsters are now taking aim at cell phone users.
A local man was alerted on his device that a group was trying to access information in his phone. He was then told that the only way to repair the issue, was to contact technical support and a number was given with a fee of $99 dollars.
Police would like to remind everyone to be aware who is calling you. If you find something suspicious, contact your local police or Crime Stoppers.
