Huntsville officially parts ways with the Executive Director of Public Infrastructure

The Moose has heard from the Town of Huntsville about Executive Director of Public Infrastructure Matthew Hartney’s termination notice. Yesterday morning, Hartney said he’d been given an eight-week termination period. But by the afternoon, we received an email from Huntsville’s Acting CAO Denise Corry, who confirmed that as of today, Hartney is no longer working for the Town. “After careful efforts to explore all possibilities of our employment relationship we have decided to part ways,” wrote Corry. “We certainly wish Matthew well in his future endeavours.” Hartney was fairly new to the position, having only been on the job for about seven months.
