North end Bracebridge gas station proposal moving forward

A proposal to bring a gas station to Bracebridge’s North end will be discussed again at Town hall soon. A report says the fuel delivery plan the Town had been looking for has been submitted to the satisfaction of staff. Over the past few years, the Town has been heavily petitioned by residents to attract a gas station to the town’s north end close to Highway 11. The proposal’s being put forward by Ganesh Hospitality Inc. and if approved, the station would go on the Travel Lodge property with an entrance off Cedar lane just south of the Bracebridge roundabout. More details as they become available.
