FedNor is investing $122,000 in the expansion of Sail Parry Sound.
Parry Sound-Muskoka MP Tony Clement was in town this morning to announce the funding that will enable the sailing centre to complete infrastructure improvements that will grow its operations and create new business opportunities.
Clement highlights the three business opportunities the expansion will create.
Sail Parry Sound President Bob Griffiths says all of the business opportunities fit into their strategic plan and explains how they will find businesses to fill them.
Griffiths says that construction has already begun on the interior of the building and the exterior construction will start soon with timing tight as the sailing school opens in two months. (Photo by James King)
