Muskoka’s drinking water systems score well in annual Provincial report card

Ontario’s latest Drinking Water Report Card is out and Muskoka’s municipal drinking water systems all have top ratings. Systems in Muskoka Lakes. Bracebridge, Gravenhurst and Huntsville received scores of 96.2 percent or higher on tests that were given for water quality. Some systems in Bracebridge, Port Sydney and Gravenhurst were rated at 100 percent. The results are part of the current high standards trend across Ontario. In 2013-2014, 99.8 per cent of over 638,000 drinking water tests from regulated systems met Ontario’s Drinking Water Quality Standards.
