Two local men face impaired driving charges

A pair of local men face impaired driving charges after incidents on the weekend. Saturday just before 5pm, police on Hawn Road found a man operating an off road vehicle who wasn’t wearing a helmet. They found out he had been drinking – the 28 year old will face his Over 80 charge in Bracebridge Court May 5th. Then just before 1am Saturday, police saw a vehicle speeding through the town of Gravenhurst. They stopped it on Lofty Pines Drive and discovered the driver was impaired. The 31 year old Gravenhurst man is slated to appear in Bracebridge court June 2nd to face impaired driving and over 80 charges.
