A car crash leads to a man getting arrested for drinking

A Ryerson man faces alcohol related charges. A crash was reported on Saturday, April 11 just after 7 p.m. on Highway 11 at Rowanwood Road. The truck had a lot of damage and police say it appears the driver reversed from the road and hit a tree. Police say the driver has been drinking. The 47-year-old faces charges including care and control of a motor vehicle and refusing to provide a breath sample. He had his licence suspended for 90 days and car impounded for seven. The man is in Huntsville court next month.
