Canada-Korea Free Trade Agreement expected to save Canada $1.7 billion annually

Parry Sound-Muskoka MP Tony Clement says the Canada-Korea Free Trade Agreement will level out the playing field for Canadian businesses’ competing with Korea’s other trading partners. Prime Minister Stephan Harper recently announced the end of a decade long negotiation between Canada and Korea. The movement brings many advantages including the elimination of tariffs and a substantial increase in Canadian exports. It’s projected that the increase in exports will boost Canada’s economy by $1.7 billion each year.
