Highway 400 between Highway 89 and Innisfil Beach Road is closed in both directions

Highway 400 just south of Barrie is expected to be closed in both directions for most of the day.   Six vehicles including a log truck crashed between Highway 89 and Innisfil Beach Road. There is diesel spill on the highway which will take some time to clean up.  One woman was airlifted to Toronto hospital in critical condition.  .  Both the north and south bound lanes are expected to be closed for the rest of the day.  OPP is suggesting Highway 27 as a detour.
