District Municipality of Muskoka releases lake trends study

The District Municipality of Muskoka has released its 2013 Lake System Health Water Quality Monitoring program. The study helps to identify trends in our water quality and lake system care. In 2013, 88 sites were monitored on 68 lakes to see chemical reactions. Since 2002, the District has conducted shoreline surveys that also document the condition of the shoreline and general land use close to lakes. For more information visit www.muskoka.on.ca
