Council will meet to day for general committee to discuss the budget. Increases were originally projected at just over five percent, but Mayor Scott Aitchison says it looks like it’s going to be more in the three per cent range. A special council meeting will follow general committee with the hopes of passing the budget.
Meanwhile, council will also hear deuptations from the Men’s Shelter, relocating the curling club, an update on the Muskoka Watershed Program, the Ontario Watercross Racing event and the Door Youth Centre. General committee starts at 10 a.m. in council chambers.
