More than just comics at Gravenhurst Comicon

If your Spidey senses are tingling, it might be because Comicon returns to Gravenhurst on Sunday (Oct 18).

Officials say there will be multiple rooms and more vendor tables with everything from toys, games, collectibles, trading cards, and of course, comic books.

It takes place Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Gravenhurst High School.

Guests include Gemini Award-winning actress Catherine Disher, who’s also known for voicing Jean Grey in X-Men: The Animated Series and actor George Buza, the voice of Beast in X-Men: The Animated Series and Santa in A Christmas Horror Story.

Tickets are available online for $5 or at the door for $10. Admission is free for children aged 12 and under.

Fans are encouraged to dress up as their favourite characters and bring along a donation for the local food bank, too.
