Huntsville OPP investigating theft of pickup truck

The Huntsville OPP is seeking public assistance in an investigation involving a stolen pickup truck.

According to police, between noon and 5 p.m. on July 31, a pickup truck was stolen from a business on Ceramic Mine Road North in Huntsville.

Police said the vehicle was last seen on Ontario Street in Burk’s Falls at about 7 p.m. on July 31.

The OPP said the stolen vehicle is described as a 2017 white Chevrolet Silverado displaying a “McDonald Steel” logo on both sides, with licence plate AS34383.

Police said the company operates several similarly marked vehicles throughout the Muskoka and Burk’s Falls area and are reminding the public that sightings of other vehicles displaying the “McDonald Steel” logo may not be connected to this investigation.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Huntsville OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
