Town of Gravenhurst to close two playgrounds for resurfacing

The Town of Gravenhurst is resurfacing two playgrounds in the community this week.

According to officials, the resurfacing work will help maintain a safe play surface, as the existing material has worn down over time.

The Town said the work will take place at the Lions Lookout Park playground from July 21 to approximately July 22, followed by work at the Kinsmen Park playground from July 23 to July 24.

Town officials said that, for safety reasons, the parks will be closed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. while the work is underway.
