Driver seriously injured after striking home and several vehicles in Huntsville

The Huntsville OPP is investigating a motor vehicle crash that left one person injured and a residence and several vehicles damaged.

Police say officers were called to the area of Main Street West shortly after midnight on April 24, following reports of a multi-vehicle collision.

Upon arrival, officers determined that a single vehicle had left the roadway, striking seven unoccupied parked vehicles before crashing into a nearby home. The impact caused significant structural damage to the residence, and occupants were relocated to a local hotel as a precaution.

The 30-year-old driver was airlifted to a Toronto area hospital with serious injuries.

Police say the investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information or dashcam footage is asked to contact the Huntsville OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers.
