The Bracebridge Chamber of Commerce has opened voting for its 31st Business Awards Gala, celebrating the local businesses and organizations that contribute to the strength and vitality of Bracebridge.
“Each year, the Bracebridge Chamber’s Business Awards Gala gives our community a chance to pause and recognize the people and organizations that help make Bracebridge, and Muskoka as a whole, thrive,” said Chamber President Marc Baudendistel. “Our local businesses bring creativity, resilience, and leadership to our region, and their contributions deserve to be celebrated. Public voting is an important part of that celebration, giving our community the opportunity to show their support for the businesses that make a difference every day.”
According to officials, more than 100 local businesses and organizations were nominated across 12 award categories this year.
Some of the categories include New Business of the Year, Legacy Business of the Year, Young Entrepreneur of the Year, and Service Business of the Year.
Officials said this year’s theme, “A Night to Shine,” celebrates an evening dedicated to recognizing local business owners and organizational leaders who make a lasting impact on the community.
Moose FM, along with Fowler Construction, Bracebridge Public Library, and Bracebridge School of Dance Arts, are among the nominees for this year’s awards.
Voting is open online from March 12 to April 9. Award winners will be announced during the Gala on April 30 at 5:30 PM, held at the Muskoka Lumber Community Centre in the Muskoka Leon’s Auditorium.
