Bracebridge OPP investigates reports of criminal youth behaviour

Bracebridge OPP is currently investigating a series of incidents involving teenagers or young adults harassing local restaurant staff.

Police said officers received numerous calls between Jan. 27 and Feb. 2 from staff at local restaurants who reported being victimized by a group of teenagers.

According to police, the teens were harassing drive-thru and counter staff in an effort to get free food. Additionally, they entered restricted employee areas to take selfies and disrupt operations.

Police said another reported incident involved a group of young adults at another restaurant location who threw pizza at the staff and engaged in further disorderly conduct.

The suspects are described as older teens and young adults, often driving an older silver Volkswagen car, a black Honda Civic and a white Lincoln SUV.

Anyone with information that may assist in the investigation is asked to contact Bracebridge OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
