Just Craftin’ Around Muskoka hosting Christmas Toy Drive in support of the Table Soup Kitchen Foundation

Just Craftin’ Around Muskoka will be hosting its 4th annual Christmas Toy Drive in support of the Table Soup Kitchen Foundation from 4 to 7 p.m. on Dec. 6 at 5 Brunel Road.

Kathryn Sanga, event organizer, said this is a “special, heartwarming event” where people get a chance to support the community and celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.

“We know that the holidays can be a difficult, stressful time for many families, especially now. If we can give back and spread the true spirit of Christmas to those who need it most, that is the most important purpose of this drive,” said Sanga.

The event will feature a visit from Santa Claus, where guests can capture a photo alongside a surprise guest yet to be announced. Treats and hot chocolate will also be available.

Claus and Sanga said every year the community’s generosity leaves them speechless.

“Last year in our community, we were able to deliver a truckload of toys to the Table Soup Kitchen Foundation, making their family gift exchange a truly magical moment last Christmas,” said Claus.

Sanga said the donations are already flowing, and unwrapped gifts can be dropped off at the Remax Professionals North brokerage in Huntsville.

“We are hoping for an even greater attendance than last year,” she said.
