A Gravenhurst High School (GHS) graduate could get an extra $2,000 to help with their post-secondary education.
Mayor of Gravenhurst Heidi Lorenz says the application for the annual bursary is available on the town’s website.
The application is due by May 31. The winner will be announced during GHS’ graduation ceremony in June.
As part of the process, applicants have to write a 500 to 750 word essay on the topic of the best ways Gravenhurst could enhance recreation and cultural opportunities for young people locally.
