Three Muskoka robotics teams competing in North Bay this weekend

In just two days, three Muskoka high school robotics teams will be at Nipissing University for North Bay’s 9th FIRST Robotics Competition.

Huntsville’s Hoya Robotics, Bracebridge’s BML Robotics, and Gravenhurst’s Gryphtech Robotics will go head to gasket against 29 other teams from across the province over the weekend.

The high school students will all be competing for a chance to earn their spot at the provincial championships, so they can represent their region at the FIRST World Championship Event in Houston, Texas.

The Hoyas have also been working behind the scenes to bring an off-season competition to Huntsville, and were an official kick-off location for the season in January.
