Stockfish Family Foundation donates $25,000 to MRI campaign

The Huntsville Hospital Foundation (HHF) is $25,000 closer to funding Muskoka’s first MRI.

That donation from the Stockfish Family Foundation in honour of the late George Stockfish, a former partner at Huntsville’s Bickley Ford and founder of North Bay’s Stockfish Automotive Group.

The foundation says the future MRI will mean timely diagnosis, reduced wait times, and less travel time for those that need it.

“We’re grateful for the meaningful gift from The Stockfish Family Foundation in honour of George,” says HHF Director of Philanthropy Meaghan Byrnes. “Their thoughtful donation will help bring MRI services to Muskoka for the very first time and for that our community and hospital will forever be grateful.”
