Huntsville closes facilities after cybersecurity incident

Some facilities in Huntsville are closed Monday after a cybersecurity incident was discovered over the weekend.

Officials say cybersecurity specialists are currently investigating, and they’ve isolated the impacted systems as well as taken some others offline as a precaution, per the town’s incident response protocol.

They say Town Hall and the Huntsville Public Library are closed to the public, but the latter is still running its March Break programs and the Algonquin Theatre its day camp.
