Students are back to school in our area Tuesday morning.
Both the Trillium Lakelands District School Board and Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board say all schools will be open for regular in-person classes.
That includes all school-related services, such as student transportation, extra-curricular activities, before and after school care, and community usage.
On Monday, the Canadian Union for Public Employees (CUPE) called off its strike action for 55,000 educational support workers. It follows the provincial government agreeing to repeal legislation which forces a four-year-contract on CUPE members.
