Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare has lifted COVID-19 outbreak conditions at the Huntsville Hospital’s east wing.
The unit has reopened to admissions and visitors, with patients allowed two visitors per day during regular hours.
MAHC officials attribute 11 patient cases and five staff cases to the 19-day outbreak.
Meanwhile, the hospital’s south wing remains closed to visitors, after being placed in outbreak status on Oct. 13. No visitors are allowed in the wing, with exceptions made for essential caregivers and palliative end-of-life patients.
