District backs financial contribution to Royal Victoria Hospital

District council is helping make sure Muskoka residents get the cancer care they need. This week council once again backed ongoing financial contributions to Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, which sees $10-million committed over ten years. The money is going to Cancer Treatment Services at the hospital. District councilors heard a progress report about it this week given by President and CEO of Royal Vic Hospital, Janice Skot.
