Expect longer wait times at Huntsville Hospital

Upgrades to the computer systems at Huntsville Hospital and South Muskoka Memorial will increase wait times over the weekend. Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC) says the planned downtime will start tonight at 6 p.m. and last until 8 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 19. MAHC says during this time many of their computer-based programs will be unavailable leading to slower processing through manual paperwork. There may be service delays as well. MAHC says they are preparing their sites for a new Electronic Health Record.
