Target is closing all of its stores in Canada

The company has 133 stores across the country, and employ 17,600 people. Most of those employees will be compensated with 16 weeks’ pay including wages and benefits coverage. The department store chain recently reported over $2.1-billion in losses, and said it couldn’t become profitable until at least 2021. There aren’t any Target stores in Muskoka. However, the closure will include the location in Orillia.
